Halliwell Homes is currently seeking a Community Fostering Recruitment Assistant to join us in Salford. The successful applicant will receive £26,000 per year.
Halliwell is a social enterprise offering “clinically informed practice” through the medium of education, fostering and residential care. Our objective is to enhance the psychological health of children within the care system. We are the UK’s leading licensed practitioner of the Pillars of Parenting “authentic warmth” care programme.
We operate a continual development programme that runs parallel with a foundation degree in childcare; working with us will be rewarding through the personal growth of everyone, together.
We require a Community Fostering Recruitment Assistant to provide support to the Restorative Fostering team in the context of linking in with the community to recruit Therapeutic Foster Parents.
Community Fostering Recruitment Assistant Responsibilities:
– To forge links in community areas to aid recruitment of prospective Foster Parents
– Examine possible new areas for recruitment
– Discuss with interested parties benefits of the fostering programme
– To portray a professional image of the organization.
– Give accurate information to interested parties
– Obtain contact details for interested parties
– Process details and forward to relevant seniors of relevant interested parties within 24 hrs
– Upload images of where the location of recruitment is to social media accounts
– Flexible working evenings and weekends when necessary.
– Contribute to the Halliwell Fostering recruitment strategy and plan
– Completion of Continuous Professional Development through the Halliwell Training Programme.
– Prompt submission of all recording requirements
– Prompt submission of time sheets and expenses claims
Community Fostering Recruitment Assistant Essential Requirements:
– Ongoing commitment to Completion of Framework for Professional Child Care intensive training through the Halliwell Training Programme.
– Ability to work flexibly and demonstrate resilience.
– Excellent communication skills with children and adults.
– Excellent recording skills.
– Reliable and trustworthy
– Full driving licence.
– Sense of humour.
– Outgoing personality.
– Approachability.
Desirable Requirements:
– Customer service/Relations/Marketing experience
– Knowledge of the Greater Manchester area
– Degree or relevant qualifications in Childcare, Social Work etc.
In return the successful applicant will receive £26,000 per year and join us on a permanent basis.
