We are recruiting a minimum of 4 full-time or 8ย part-timeย Community Care Workerย to provide care andย support to people living inย across the NE3 areas of Newcastle which includes;ย Fawdon, Gosforth and Kenton.

Job Purpose
Connecting our customers to community activities;ย providing care and support that promotes going above and beyond. You will be integral to enabling customers to access local community groups, activities and events.
- Provide personal care that protects people’s dignity.
- Promote independence using enabling approaches.
- Support people to meet their outcomes, involving families and professionals.
- Connect people to their communities accessing local support and services.
- Deliver personalised care through individual choice and control.
- Be a strong and effective communicator, documenting, reporting, and sharing information with the right people at the right time.
Pay:ย ยฃ12.00 p/hr (drivers) & ยฃ10.50 p/hr walkersย (paid per shifts not per call, travel time included)
- Mileage – 40p per mile for drivers / 15p per mile for cyclists
- Bonus schemes: up to ยฃ300 new starter, ยฃ300 Refer a Friend, ยฃ250 annual bonus. ยฃ25 birthday gift voucher.
As aย Community Care Workerย forย Be Caring, your working hours will be aligned to our shift patterns, which for this role include late shift working and alternate weekends.
- Early Shifts: 7:00am – 3:00pm
- Late shift: 3:00pm – 10:00pmย (finish time depends on publicย transport times)
As aย Care Assistantย forย Be Caring,ย we will agree your working pattern, setting 2-week rota which includes:
- Alternate full weekends.
- Evenings as agreed within your working hours.

Induction Training
We are looking for people withย Be Caringย values to join our team. For this role you do not need care experience, we recognise you will have many transferable skills from previous roles, for example as a shop assistant. We will provide you with the training you need to be an outstandingย Community Care Worker.
