Title: Communications and Engagement Lead

Location: Can be based in Peterborough or Basingstoke (3 days a week in the office, 2 WFH)

Salary: £50,000 – £62,000+ (potential flexibility) and up to 10% bonus

We’re working exclusively in partnership with a leading consultancy to hire an Employee Engagement and Communications Lead for one of their key accounts. They work in partnership with household brands across the financial services industry, assisting with their operations needs.

Due to huge investment and a cultural transformation, they are looking to bring in an experienced employee engagement and communications lead for an account of 2500 employees (which continues to grow due to business successes).

You’ll join a wider existing communication and engagement team and lead on building a sense of culture and community across one of their largest accounts. This includes listening to the voice of employees, working closely with team leaders, supporting events and charity work, building engaging content for the intranet and newsletters, and driving the strategy behind people plans.

What We’re Looking For

• Passion for diving into an organisation and gaining knowledge to build communication and engagement plans that will improve employee retention and engagement
• Track record of successful employee engagement campaigns – Colleague Engagement Surveys, Wellbeing initiatives, Diversity and Inclusion initiatives, Town Halls etc.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build relationships in complex environments
• Open to different industries with a preference for retail, telecoms or call centre operations (desirable)

Occasional travel to other UK sites.
