Commissioning Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled engineer to operate in sites across the Midlands, occasionally working in and around London with prior arrangement. The role involves PPMs, servicing, reactive works, and the installation of IAS, Access Control, CCTV, and Fire Systems.
Position Overview:
- Seeking a skilled engineer for sites across the Midlands, occasional work in and around London with prior arrangement.
- Involves PPMs, servicing, reactive works, and installation of IAS, Access Control, CCTV, and Fire Systems.
Responsibilities:
- Possess sound knowledge of Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Fire, and Access Control Systems.
- Collaborate with fellow engineers in the installation of CCTV, Intruder Alarm, Fire, and Access Control Systems.
- Experience in a range of these systems is essential.
- Provide day-to-day service, maintenance, and repair of Analogue, Digital & IP CCTV, Intruder Alarm, Fire, and Access Control Systems.
- Complete assigned planned preventative maintenance via PDA.
- Flexibility required for call-out rotations and travel.
Qualifications:
- Independent, reliable, and adaptable to various environments.
- Offer service support, reactive fault-finding, strive for a 1st-time fix where possible, and maintain a range of intruder, CCTV, Fire, and Door Access Systems.
- Attention to detail, precision in daily duties, and effective client communication are crucial.
Requirements:
- Agreement to use an electronic PDA and Navigation System & a vehicle anti-accident camera issued by The Kirby Group for job tracking and timekeeping.
- Ongoing training provided for various systems.
- Beneficial qualifications include Fire Fundamentals in FD&A Unit 1 & 2, City & Guilds Electronic Security and Emergency Systems (1853), Providing Electronic Security and Emergency Systems (2882).
- CSCS/ECA & IPAF or PASMA card required.
