My client is a specialist gas engineering company, delivering integrated instrumentation and engineered solutions to the gas utilities, industrial process and environmental industries. In the past 25 years they have grown from being a small specialist subcontractor, into one of the largest system integration providers in the UK industrial gas market.
Oil & Gas, pharmaceutical or process +PLC knowledge required.

With good communication skills and an awareness of upfront customer liaison, the ideal candidates will possess and be able to demonstrate excellent fault finding skills through a logical approach.

It is important that your previous work and educational experience have focused on Electrical/Electronic testing and repair and on the maintenance and repair of Pneumatics or Pressurised Gas Systems.

IT and Computer skills would be essential as is a previous experience of Instrumentation and Test equipment.

The role is varied and mainly involves the routine calibration and fault finding / optimisation of process field instrumentation but in return, the Company will provide a comprehensive period of training and familiarisation in both the classroom and in the field.

A flexible approach is vital as the role will involve a significant amount of UK travel and overnight stays.
