Commissioning Electrical Technician

Rullion Engineering has a fantastic opportunity the Europe’s/UK Leading Rapidly Expanding Organisation in the Renewable Wind Sector. Rullion currently requires for a Commissioning Electrician based in Scotland (Perth) covering sites throughout the UK. As a Commissioning Electrician you will be travelling frequently all over the UK and commissioning, inspecting, auditing, reporting on and fault finding newly built Wind Turbines. You must be able to stay away from home for prolonged periods, be proactive, resourceful and take the initiative when required. Working as part of a small team, this is a challenging and exciting position.

* You will be joining an established team of 6 commissioning technicians and you will be expected to travel to wherever necessary to commission the wind Turbines to the highest of standards and to target deadlines
* You will be climbing wind turbines and therefore would be expected to have a good head for heights as well as the fitness to perform this integral job requirement on a very regular basis
* Excellent team work and positive integration with employees is essential
* Your work will involve significant periods of living away and weekend working.

Personnel Requirements:

* You must have at least a level 3 qualification in an electrical or engineering discipline
* Excellent fault finding and reporting experience
* Experience with installation and retrofitting of electrical components
* Experience with maintenance schedules
* A good understanding of health and safety
* Highly proactive and motivated
* You will be literate and numerate, with good IT skills
* We need high mobility (willingness to move and to travel)

The starting salary for this position is circa £30,000, with overtime and travel allowance your slary can easily exceed £40k pa.
