Commissioning Care Home Manager

Salary: £72,000 per year

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Commissioning Registered Home Manager to manage a ’state of the art’ care home based in the Shipley, West Yorkshire.

This care home will focus on residential care and dementia care.

An excellent well-rewarded salary from £72,000 up to £65,000 per annum + Bonus doe

Commissioning experience preferred but not essential

As the Home Manager your key responsibilities include:

• You will be responsible for the start-up of the growing providers new brand, ensuring when residents join, you’ll deliver the very best person-centred care service whilst promoting their interests and understanding their needs.
• You will effectively manage your staff, providing information, guidance and on-going supervision and support, recruiting and on-boarding new staff and continually develop and encourage your team.
• You will have full commercial control and work closely with the Customer Relations Team to ensure optimum occupancy in the home by creative marketing strategies ensuring cost control over fees and staffing

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Ideally 4 years’ experience as a Registered Care Home Manager with CQC.
• Experience or understanding of commissioning a large new care home provision.
• Have a proven track record in management and delivery of high-quality care within a residential setting and financial management planning.
• Proven experience of managing a care team, encouraging, leading, and motivating others.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, compliance, and care inspectorate.
• Passionate, driven, confident and resilient Leader.
• Have excellent communication skills with a natural ability to lead, motivate and inspire your team.
