The company have been for over 40 years and has grown to be one of the largest privately owned Design and Build main contractors in the UK. They provide a range of solutions supporting all aspects of the construction and development process.
They currently have 27 ongoing projects around the SE area ranging from £15M to £150M. The projects include residential and mixed-use developments, retail and leisure schemes, office and industrial buildings, as well as high profile hotel and education projects.
They are looking Commercial/Managing Surveyor with a proven track record working on large projects and keen to work for a well established professional organisation.
The role
• As a Commercial/Managing Surveyor you will be responsible multiple large scale projects around the South East
• You will be working on both residential and commercial projects
• Responsibility for 2 Senior Quantity Surveyors and 1 Graduate
• In charge of Procurement
• Working closely with Company Directors
• Strategic planning contributing to company objectives
The candidate requirements
• Proven experience working for a main contractor is essential
• Expertise working on multi million pound budgets
• Design & Build experience on all aspects of the construction and development process
• People management skills
• Proven track record in high pressure environment
• Budget or Procurement experience
• Commuting distance to M25
