A proactive and fast expanding family run company operating in Essex is looking for a Maintenance Gas Engineer to join the team. Due to expansion they are have an opportunity for a fully qualified Commercial and Domestic Gas Engineer to start work immediately on a mobile basis carrying out a full range of heating and plumbing maintenance duties.
As a Gas Engineer you will be required to carry out works on breakdowns, servicing and repair to a varied selection of buildings ranging from offices, factories, government buildings and retail outlets.
Location: Covering Essex – London, Hertfordshire and Suffolk. The ideal candidate will be located in the Hertfordshire/Essex or Suffolk area.
Specific Responsibilities:
Candidates must hold current Gas Safe Certificate, OFTEC and relevant qualification(s) to work on domestic Gas and Oil appliances.
Previous experience of: Service, Repair & Maintenance of Gas appliances (Gas Fires, Boilers (Gas and Oil)).
Always working to strict Health & Safety compliance. Qualifications required: OFTEC – CCN1 – CEN1 – CKR1 – WAT1 – HTR1 – CPA1
– All applicants must have s experience within the plumbing and/or gas heating industry, holding the necessary qualifications and full knowledge of both commercial and domestic systems.
Fully expensed vehicle is provided.
Travel paid door to door
Call out rota (1 Week in 4) and standby allowance for week on call
All call hours paid at overtime rate
