Commercial Finance Analyst

Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 per year

Our client, a local employer of choice and industry leader, is looking to source a talented and credible Commercial Finance Analyst to join in this highly business-facing role. It’s got a great mix of accounting and partnering, working predominantly with the Trading Teams providing analysis and value-adding insight.

Main duties include:

• Influence category managers to ensure understanding of margin and central income

• Act as the financial expert for the category teams

• Undertake analysis of the major drivers of category growth, e.g. pricing, promotions etc.

• Identifying future risk and opportunity

Key skills and experience required:

• Commercially astute

• Credible and confident demeanor, capable of challenging the status quo where necessary

• Desire to broaden your skill set and knowledge by rotating roles in different areas

• Natural aptitude towards finance and numerical data

• Strong financial controls background

• Ability to influence stakeholders across a range of functions
