Commercial Finance Analyst

The MI team at Harrington Brooks are responsible for the creation and control of business intelligence, providing reporting, analysis and solutions to all business areas.

Responsibilities in this role will include:

* Forecasting of debtor levels and collection rates
* Monthly revenue forecasting and variance analysis
* Carry out reviews and reconciliations to ensure highest levels of data integrity and accuracy
* Segmentation and modelling of customer data
* Analysis of data to deliver added value to all business areas
* Maintenance and development of reporting (financial and operational)
* Close liaison with Finance team to ensure consistency of data

Experience:

* Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) (Newly qualified or part qualified will be considered)
* Minimum of 3 years in an analytical role, including data analysis, forecasting and modelling
* Knowledge of financial services industry (preferably in the credit sector)
* Extraction and consolidation of data from multiple sources
* Report writing
* Stakeholder management up to and including board level

Key Skills:

* Advanced MS Excel
* Intermediate SQL server and SSRS
* Ability to self motivate
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
* Good time management
* Ability to adapt to change, meet the changing demands of the work environment, any delays or other unexpected demands.
* Dependability
* Ability to work well as part of a team
* Ability to work under pressure and to targets and deadlines

Salary: Up to £36,000dependent upon experience
