Commercial Body Builder (Late Shift)

Salary: £30,000 – £48,000 per year

BP Rolls Group are looking for experienced vehicle body builders or welder fabrications who have experience in all types of commercial vehicles to join our late shift team. Based at our HQ workshop in Andover, this shift runs from 2pm-10pm.

We have a constant flow of vehicles going through the workshop so the ideal candidate must be able to work quickly and effectively to hit targets, but most importantly, be able to produce work to an excellent standard.
Responsibilities & Duties
* To complete repairs to a high standard within the allocated time frame
* Building and repair of commercial vehicle bodies
* Welding of metal work as required
* Use of cutting and bending machinery
* Ensure the surrounding work area is a safe environment, compling with site specific health and safety rules and regulations
Person Specification
You will need to have served either a recognised apprenticeship as a Body Builder and gained a technical qualification or be time served in your experience if not formally qualified, with at least 3 years under your belt.
* You will work to a high standard and demonstrate a sound, up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
* You will ideally hold a recognised welding qualification.
* Hold a valid UK drivers license
* Have a good understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
* Demonstrate good communication and skills with a good standard of both written and spoken English.
* Ability to work well as part of a team, and also under your own initiative when required.
* Be well organised with excellent time management, and ability to work well under pressure.
* Have a positive outlook, with a desire for self improvement and enthusiasm to learn new skills.
Salary & Benefits
* We are offering a competitive salary of around £30,000 – £48,000 with a good bonus scheme providing OTE of £40k
* The working hours of this role are Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm
