Skills
*Experience in S7300 – 400 PLC and WinCC Flexible HMI code development and commissioning
*Experience in Communication networks establishment mainly Profibus and Ethernet
*Experience in WinCC 6.2, 7.0, 7.2 SCADA developments and commissioning. Basic understanding of VB Scripting necessary to troubleshoot SCADA scripts
*Experience in SLC series of Rockwell PLCs and RSView32 SCADA

Responsibilities
*Factory Acceptance Testing of PLC, HMI and SCADA from perspective of processes logic (bench
*testing) at Manchester Office
*Factory Acceptance Testing of PLC, HMI and SCADA from perspective of Panel testing and Panel manufacturer.
*Commissioning of PLC, HMI and SCADA software at Water and Waste Water Treatment Plants
*Technical Support to other team members over phone or in person.
*Ensure allocated work scopes are produced within budget and timescale and estimated efforts
*Monitor allocated work scopes and report current status to Manager/Lead Engineer
*Record requested changes, record deviation from design, raise early warning for any anticipated risk on the project.
*Assist Manager/Lead Engineer with estimates of effort and best technical solution
*Identifying processes and patterns of work areas and recommending procedures to improve standardisation and consistency of approach to Manager/Lead Engineer.
*Monitoring trends and new products in the marketplace, which could benefit the company, and recommending to Manager/Lead Engineer.
*In addition to the duties listed, the jobholder is required to perform other duties assigned by his/her Manager/lead Engineer from time to time.

Pre-Requites
*Degree or HNC/HND with relevant proven ability
*Proven ability with development & programming of Siemen PLC and SCADA system (experience on Rockwell technology will be an added advantage)
*Demonstrable relevant Software Engineering ability within the Water industry.
*Ability to carry out all elements of Software design within Controls Systems
*Car, Driving License and respective necessary documents
