CNC Turner Programmer Setter Operator

Salary: £31,200 – £38,400 per year

** 4 DAY WEEK**

We are currently recruiting a CNC Turner for our client in Huddersfield, we’re looking for an experienced person who can programme/set and operate a range of differing machines. The work will consist of low batch quantities and is on a day shift basis over Monday-Thursday and Friday is an overtime day and paid as such. 

CNC/CNC Turner/CNC Machinist/Fanuc/Machine Shop/Programming/

Responsibilities:

• Working from engineering drawings, set up, programme and operate a range of CNC Lathes
• Tooling selection
• Inspect 1st off to ensure compliance to drawing
• Report any machine faults 
• Clean down

CNC/CNC Turner/CNC Machinist/Fanuc/Machine Shop/Programming/

Skills education and experience:

• Experienced CNC Turner
• Able to programme using Fanuc as a minimum
• Apprentice-trained or Time-Served.in the trade
• Able to read complex engineering drawings
• Able to use a range of measuring instruments
• Flexible
• Good eye for detail
