CNC Turner

Salary: £14.4 – £20.4 per hour

An opportunity for an experienced CNC Setter Operator is available.

Reporting directly to the machine shop manager, role responsibilities will include:

• Experience with Fanuc controls – On fixed head CNC lathes and multiple axis machinery.
• Experience with multi-turret machines would be a significant benefit
• Understanding of engineering drawings and working with tight tolerances.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Producing high quality machined components.
• Programming, setting and operating fixed head CNC lathes.
• Completing small to large batch work plus prototypes.
• Work collaboratively as a team member to improve existing processes and quality control.
• Working with a variety of materials from plastics, aluminium and stainless steels.
• Maintain production records to comply with ISO 9001:2015 and company procedure.
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as under own initiative.
