Salary: £18 – £19.2 per hour
We are on the hunt for a CNC Turner in the Heckmondwyke area. The CNC Turner would be working for a leading bespoke company who specialise in the hydraulics industry and are looking for a new member to join the team due to retirement. As a CNC turner you will have experience in programming Fanuc controls and setting and operating machines.
Benefits
Salary: £18 – £19.2 per hour
Working hours: Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 16:30 Friday 8:00 – 14:00
Holidays: 33 holidays (this is including bank holidays)
Knowledge and Responsibilities:
- Setting, Operating and programming CNC turning machines
- Able to fluently program Fanuc controls
- Quality awareness and a keen eye for detail.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Checking and inspecting parts.
- Good housekeeping skills.
Experience required:
- Turning metals to tight tolerances
- Able to work more than one CNC machine at any one time
- Programming using Fanuc controls
- Using Fanuc manual guide i
- Apprentice trained
- Able to work with cast-iron and other heavy metals.
