Salary: £26,000 – £32,760 per year

CNC SETTER / OPERATOR (Sliding Head), Northampton, Permanent

We are looking for hard working individuals who have the passion and drive to succeed in this busy and varied role working for an established engineering company that manufactures and supplies challenging components for advanced engineering customers around the world.

Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate:

• The ability to Set and Operate CNC Machines
• Fanuc Experience
• Ability to self inspect own parts
• Ability to work to tight tolerances 

Desirable skills:

• CNC Sliding Head Experience 
• Star and/or Citizen experience

As a CNC Setter/Operator, you will be reading / interpreting engineering drawings, following work instructions and operating CNC machines to produce a variety of complex parts using different alloy steels. You will be working to high standards and will therefore be required to self inspect your own parts using manual measuring equipment.
