We are recruiting for a Production Engineer to work for a long established Birmingham business with a diverse poduct range. With the full support of senior management, you will be tasked with changing production methods from manual to CNC in order to drive efficiencies and will see your ideas make a real impact from day one.
Job Role:
– Support the introduction of CNC machine shop
– Method planning of CNC milled and turned components ensuring parts are manufactured effectively and efficiently.
– Identifying and implementing improvements to existing products and manufacturing methods
– Offline programming using CAD &CAM systems
– Machining and development of new products
Requirements:
– Experience of programming and setting of CNC milling and turning centres
– Knowledge of Mazak turning centres and Mazatrol programming
– Experience in the use of CAD and CAM software
Qualification / Experience:
Apprenticeship, Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline.
