CNC Miller – Monday – Friday Days

An exciting opportunity for a CNC Miller to work in a fast paced machine shop environment, machining parts for automotive clients in this precision engineering environment. We are looking for a CNC Miller who has 3 or 5 axis Milling experience with excellent Salary: s available dependent on level of experience/skill.

Hours/Shift: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm or 7am-3pm

Overtime Rates: Time and ¼ to Double on a Sunday

Salary: £26,000 – £32,760per year dependent on experience

Commutable distance: South Nottingham, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, North Leicester.

Background required: Previous 3 axis milling experience with the drive to learn programming and 5 axis milling OR to already be a competent 5 axis miller to demand the higher salary range.

Overview:

Working in a fast paced, predominantly one off and short production run environment, working to high tolerances machining with 3 and 5 axis VMC’s.

Essential Requirements:
– Previous 3 axis milling experience with the ambition to learn 5 axis machining
– Show desire to progress into a fully fledged setter, operator and programmer
– A drive to learn on and offline programming

Training and progression:
– Training provided to upskill in offline programming and 5 axis machining
