A leading subcontract precision engineering company has been experiencing continued growth and a growing client base in various industry sectors. The company is a very modern subcontract machining service provider offering CNC precision Turned and Milled components.
Job Profile
Expanding the 5 axis milling section you will be programming both on and offline for a client base that are demanding but have some very interesting projects. There is an opportunity to Team Lead the milling team and lead from the front in the department.
Duties
* Programming Setting and Operating 5 axis Doosan machines with Fanuc controls
* Program both online and off line using OneCNC software (training can be provided)
* Assist in job costing, material and tool selection and ordering
* Manage projects from drawings to final component shipment
* Self-inspection
* Reading engineering drawing
Skills & Experience
* Ideally 5 axis experience, but will consider an ambitious 3 axis Miller
* Must have Fanuc controls experience
* Ideally OneCNC CADCAM experience, training can be provided to the right candidate
* Able to read engineering drawing
* Used to machining to tight tolerances
Hours of Work & Benefits
* 40 hrs per week
* 07.00 – 17.00, Monday – Thursday, Friday 13.00 finish
* Overtime paid at x1.333 hrs
