CNC Machinist – Oxforshire

A CNC Machinist is required to join the Production Team of a leading Aerospace Manufacturing facility. The CNC Machinist will participate in the company’s manufacture of products for the Aerospace and Automotive products. The CNC Machinist work includes all machining operations, machine set-up, material preparation etc.

Job Role for CNC Machinist

The CNC Machinist is responsible for completing the ‘Production Orders’ as quickly and cost effectively as possible. Great Benefits, a state of the art building, fantastic pension scheme and a nice place to work.

This CNC Machinist requires a versatile person, who is able to communicate in a professional manner to his fellow work colleagues and be able to work in a team working environment.

CNC Machinist – Key Responsibilities

– Able to Set and Operate the following machines safely and in a timely manner:
– CNC lathes, (Fanuc and Mazatrol Controls Ideally).
– CNC milling machines, (Mazatrol Controls Ideally).
– Operate Manual Lathes and Milling machines.
– Use associated measuring systems.
– Have the ability to work to production deadlines.

Training will be given to the right Candidates and Aerospace or similar Industry Experinece will be Advantageuous

CNC Machinist – Technical Skills

– Able to perform basic maintenance tasks.
– Able to work report back to the production manager in relation to equipment, works order or facility problems.
– Responsible for the completion of the Production order documentation.
– Role requires self-motivation and initiative, as well as being able to motivate others in a professional manner.
