CNC GUILLOTINE MACHINE OPERATOR
Hope Valley
Temp to Perm
£26,000 per year, dependent on experience with additional premium rates for overtime working.
Our client is looking for an experienced CNC Guillotine Machine Operator to join the Fabrication Department at their site on the outskirts of Sheffield in Hope Valley.
THE ROLE
* Cut materials using the CNC guillotine machine
* working with mild and stainless steel between 0.7 and 5mm thickness
* The ability to use a metal cutting band saw and notching machines
* Knocking out and deburring using notches and linishing belts.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Candidates should have previous experience of operating a guillotine machine and have the ability to mark out and measure to close tolerances.
Capable of working on their own initiative and as part of a team.
Experience of MIG welding would be an advantage, however training will be provided for the right candidate, with the opportunity to be placed on a work-based apprentice scheme to achieve a level 3 certification.
HOURS:
37.50 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 8.00am – 4.45pm, with a half hour unpaid lunch break, Friday 8.00am – 12.30pm.
