CMM Operator / Programmer

Burns recruitment is in search of an experienced CMM technician to join a fast paced manufacturing company based in the Caerphilly Area.

Responsibilities

* Develop measurement programmes using ”off-line’ programming techniques / software
* Undertake dimensional assessments to support PPAP submission, supplier PPAP evaluation and problem solving
* Provide dimensional reports / capability reports when requested
* Plan and maintain a work schedule
* Liaise directly with the Quality manager regarding priority schedules
* Maintain machine software / hardware to a level capable of supporting measurement requirements
* Monitor, maintain and update ANNUAL Validation on an ongoing basis
* Take main lead and ownership of calibration process
* Provide guidance on measurement technique
* Support supplier queries on measurement

Requirements

* Experience in a similar role
* Travel as and when needed
