Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: £540 – £564 per day

This is an exciting contract opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineer with strong Azure and Terraform skills to join a superb company in central Leeds. The contract is for an initial 3 months and is outside IR35. The role is mostly remote although there will be the occasional visit to the office for meetings, etc.

The company can offer lots of interesting work across a variety of platforms.

The ideal candidate is someone with in-depth Azure expertise as well as experience in Web Services, Networking, Virtualisation and Windows Server configuration and infrastructure. You should have solid experience of load balancing, Active Directory and platform monitoring too.

Azure and Microsoft qualifications are essential for this role – and Terraform is essential for configuration etc too.

You should have strong interpersonal skills and you should have good experience within a digital environment and web infrastructure. Experience in managing suppliers would be handy and you should be capable of ensuring that the company’s estate is documented.

You will be involved in starting projects from scratch as well as managing existing systems. This is an ITIL environment so you should be someone with a strong service delivery ethos. This is a hands-on technical role.
