Salary: £37,200 – £49,200 per year
Our client in Central London is looking to take on a Clinical Scientist for Cytogenetics, permanently to work within their Haematological Medicine department.
You would be expected to contribute towards patient care by participating in the provision of timely high quality Cytogenetic analyses of blood, bone marrow and lymph nodes, including analysis, interpretation and reporting of chromosome findings with minimal supervision in order to provide a reliable and efficient high quality clinical cytogenetic service.
The post holder will participate in the supervision of the work, performance monitoring and training of technical and junior Clinical Scientists, and will be expected to perform to a high level of accuracy and reliability.
Collaboration with other members of the laboratory is expected to achieve an effective and
efficient service to patients and the Trust at an agreed level of quality.
