I am working with a fantastic company who are a leading provider of specialist neurological care and neuro rehabilitation for people with progressive or acquired neurological conditions.

They are currently looking for a Clinical Lead Nurse for their beautiful purpose-built unit in Peterborough and need a Registered Nurse who has the skills and enthusiasm to manage a team of very experienced Nurses and who can provide high level clinical expertise to the team. Duties will include:

• Responsibility for the clinical operation of the unit – for all aspects of the specialist progressive neurological care provision
• Assessing, planning, implementation and evaluation of individual care plans including other relevant agencies as appropriate
• Providing ongoing monitoring, support and assessment of residents’ physical and physiological needs
• Directing, supervising and managing staff ensuring professional lines of accountability and priorities are met and that all policies and procedures are strictly adhered to
• Responsibility for the day to day clinical governance and clinical risk management of the unit

For this role you must have:

• NMC registration
• A Registered Nurse qualification with at least 3 years’ experience of service management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience of supervising a staff team
• An understanding of specialist neurological care environments
• A clean UK driving licence
