Clinical Deputy Manager

Salary: £54,000 per year

We have an exciting opportunity at Gorseway Park for a full-time Clinical Deputy Manager. Gorseway Park has just undergone a substantial refurbishment project and is situated within stunning grounds on the southern side of the beautiful Hayling Island.

You can earn up to £45k as a Deputy Manager (RGN) in Gorseway Park.

Key Responsibilities of the Deputy Care Home Manager:

The Deputy Care Home Manager will support the Registered Care Home Manager in the day to day activities of running the home.
Work closely with the Registered Care Home Manager to ensure Gorseway Park is recognised for being a great place to live and work.
Assume full responsibility for the day to day running of the Home in the absence of the Registered Care Home Manager.
Manage a team including Care Managers, Care Workers and ancillary staff, ensuring best practice is carried out.
Review the care needs of residents by their changing needs and by contractual requirements.
Monitor and ensure that the general standards of hygiene and cleanliness in relation to the premises and equipment are maintained.What we offer our Deputy Care Home Managers:

NVQ 3 or above in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
Up to date NMC Pin
Previous management/supervisory experience
Knowledge of Health and Safety rules, relating to Care Homes.
A caring nature and desire to make a difference in someone’s life
Demonstrate up to date knowledge of the Care Sector, the running of a Care Home and the regulatory framework.
Experience of working with vulnerable client groups
The right to work in the UK
A good level of English – both written and oral
