POSITION: Cleaning Supervisor

LOCATION: Wembley (NW10)

Salary: £26,000per year

HOURS OF WORK: TBC

DURATION: Role is temporary with a view to going permanent for the right candidate after a 3 month period.

KEY DUTIES:
General cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, disposal of waste, replenishment of stock/facilities.
Areas of cleaning to include staff areas as well as customer areas and warehouse/storage areas
Will be supervising a team of approx.10 cleaners on their day-to-day tasks
Will be responsible for the training and induction of new members of staff.
Some HR processes such as return to work interviews and weekly rotas
Be the first point of contact for the more Senior members of the facilities team to relay messages or implement changes to procedures.
Report any health and safety issues using Carillion’s ‘Dont Walk By’ procedure
Some daily and weekly reports/paperwork to be carried out

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:
No direct qualifications needed but a strong background in cleaning is essential
Would be beneficial for the candidate to have supervisory experience at least to a team-leader level
Other training/certificates/qualifications in Health & Safety within the cleaning sector such as COSHH, HACCP, BICs Manual handling etc.
