JOB TITLE: Cleaning Operative

LOCATION: Train Depot

PAY RATE: £11.95 per hour; full time

SHIFT PATTERN: Day Shift- 6 shifts per week (8 am to 4pm)

OVERVIEW OF JOB DESCRIPTION

ABM is looking for hardworking and proactive team members to join our cleaning teams in train depots. This is a permanent and full-time role, shifts will be subject to the roster and may include weekends. You will be based in Ruislip Depot.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Your duties will involve general and deep cleaning of both the interior and exterior of trains
• Using chemicals to clean effectively and efficiently
• Promoting a clean and safe working environment by ensuring all tasks are carried out in line with company policies and procedures.
• Training and full uniform will be provided.
• You must have good timekeeping, great communication skills, and immaculate attendance.

Person Specification:

• Outstanding communication skills both internal and external.
• Good spoken and written English language proficiency
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• A proactive/can-do attitude to work.
• The ability to work on initiative and fully own the role.
• The ability to follow processes/ instructions.
• Good industrial cleaning experience
