Cleaners – Am and Pm Shifts

Salary: £26,000 per year

I am currently looking for a number of cleaners for a busy shopping centre in Thurrock.

We have AM and PM shifts available. 

The Role

• 40 hours per week
• AM Shift – 5am – 2.30pm
• Shift – 12.30pm – 10.00pm
• 5 on 3 off rolling pattern
• £9.50

Some Responsibilities

• Cleaning all areas of the shopping centre including stairs and other public accessible areas
• Emptying bins
• Sweeping and mopping
• To report any maintenance defects relating to the building and its fixtures and fittings
• Adhere to all health and safety measures within the centre at all times
• Use cleaning machines (once fully trained)

The Candidate

• Ideally you will have 1 years cleaning experience
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning
• Ability to walk, bend, push and lift repetitively throughout working hours
• Knowledge of COSHH policies and procedures
• Good customer service skills
• Knowledge of chemicals, storage and disposal methods
• Experience of using cleaning machinery
