Aviation Recruitment Network Ltd has secured a number of contracts with companies based in East Midlands Airport and its surrounding areas.

We are looking for cleaners to perform a variety of roles and duties.

Job Requirements:

You will assist with the cleaning of all areas within the airport including aircraft, terminals business lounge areas and hotel rooms to the highest standards.

Your duties will include:

Cleaning designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, lounges, lounges furniture terminal areas & public areas including wash rooms

Emptying bins and litter picking

Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities

Stock and maintain supply rooms and replenish consumables in wash rooms

Follow all health and safety regulations

Cleaning of the inside of aircrafts to a high standard

Cleaning of all lounges & terminal areas to a high standard

Cleaning public & aircraft wash rooms

Cleaning of glass and tables

Replenishing consumables in wash rooms

Cleaning fixture fittings and services

Emptying bins and litter picking

Cleaning and vacuuming of the lounge and public areas

Dusting of lounge furniture and ceilings

Any other duties as requested by the housekeeping team

Skills and Competencies

The ideal applicant will have:

Good communication skills (spoken and written)

Excellent grooming standards

The ability to work shifts between 0430 hrs – 22300 hrs

The ability to commute by public transport to and from East Midlands Aiport

The ability to provide a 5 years checkable reference history

The ability to provide a overseas police clearance certificate if you have resided abroad for a period of 6 months or more

Experience is not essential, however previous experience as a chambermaid, housekeeper, domestic cleaner, general cleaner, cleaning operative, carer, house maid, wash room attendant, toilet attendant, janitor or room attendant will be high desirable.

For all airport related positions, candidates will be subject to security clearance at their own expense in order to cover a Criminal Record Check (CRC).

This is an ongoing position; however successful individuals may be offered permanent contracts subject to performance.
