Class 2 Tipper Driver

Salary: £26,000 – £28,080 per year

An interesting position has become available for a Class 2 Tipper or Roll on Roll off driver to join a friendly team in Stanford le Hope Essex. If you have a clean Class 2 driving licence and a CPC and digital tacho card then this is a perfect opportunity to grow your career and join a fantastic company. You will work roughly 9 hours a day starting at 6 or 7am

Role Requirements

Class 2 clean licence

Skip driving experience and /or roll on /off (essential)

Valid CPC and digital taco card essential

Excellent driving skills and road safety knowledge

Reliable, flexible to meet the needs of the business

Safety conscious ensuring that personal safety and that of others is a key priority

Polite mannered and customer focused

Undertaking a variety of work, including Roll on Roll Off and Skip Lorry duties, throughout various locations of a network of sites and customers

Supervising or helping to load and unload goods

Making sure loads are safely secured

Following traffic reports and changing your route if necessary

Completing delivery paperwork and log books

Thorough vehicle checking before each journey

You may also deal with basic maintenance such as oll and water top-ups before and after journeys, plus re-torqueing of wheel nuts when required
