Salary: £14.4 – £15 per hour
We are looking for several experienced Class 2 Drivers to work on contracts throughout the North Yorkshire area.
THE ROLE:
You will have experience of driving a wide range of vehicles and have minimum of Class C licence.
THE DUTIES:
* Responsible for driving road gritting vehicles throughout a specific patch throughout North Yorkshire.
THE HOURS:
You will be required to work on a rota throughout the autumn / winter season.
The approximate hours will be 4.00am-8.00am, plus some additional duties as and when required after the gritting route is done, and 6.00pm – 10.00pm, although when working on the late shift you will be on call through the night, to come out as and when needed.
THE RATE OF PAY:
You will earn an excellent hourly rate of between £14.4 – £15 per hour. You will also receive a guaranteed weekly allowance for being on call.
