Class 2 Driver

Salary: £15.58 per hour

Drake Recruitment are currently recruiting Class 2 drivers for their client based in Chorley

All work is offered on an Ad-hoc basis with the chance of a permanent position after 12 weeks ad-hoc work.

You duties will include

·Loading and unloading cages from vehicles that contain both clean and soiled linen

·Manual handling involved at both delivery and collection points

·Deliver and collect work to and from the client to the customers premises

·Accurately record each customers delivery and collection using a PDA or route manifest

·Various delivery routes on a weekly basis

·Record and report customer queries using the correct documentation

·Daily Debrief sessions and update on any customer changes

·To comply with current EU Tachograph legislation and Working Time Directive

·Daily vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy as per current legislation

·Comply with driver telematics systems

Skills Required

·Category C Rigid driving licence

·Up to Date Driver CPC

·No More than 6 points on driving licence

·Highly customer focused

·Ability to make decisions on your own

·PC / PDA literacy

·Problem solving skills

·Patient, Polite and courteous

Pay Rates

Mon-Fri£15.58ph

Saturday & Sunday£13.51ph

Overtime after 40hrs£16.22ph
