Immediate Start
Driver Hire Norwich are recruiting for our client based in Great Yarmouth. We are looking to fill an immediate vacancy of a Class 2 ADR Tanker driver. This is an 6 month winter temp contract, running until the end of March, but possibly longer if needed. Previous experience of bulk fuel deliveries is preferred, but training will be provided. Day work, 06:00 / 06:30 starts, 8 to 10hr shifts. Overtime paid after 8hours. 4on 4off shifts would be considered.
Job description
As a Class 2 ADR Tanker driver you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of fuel to a wide range of customers across East Anglia. Supply can be to domestic, commercial, retail or agricultural customer, and the focus is on service and the customer. Start times are 06:00 / 06:30 Mon to Fri, rota’s Saturdays, on average 10hr days. Overtime is paid after 8hrs, and is readily available across the busier winter months, both Saturdays & Sundays.
The Requirements:
- Class 2 Driving Licence (C), ideally held for a minimum of 1 year
- Current ADR certificate, tanks
- Current Driver CPC and Digital Tacho Card
- Previous experience of fuel delivery and industry preferred but not essential
- Previous experience of a multi drop delivery service preferred
- Good geographical knowledge of the delivery area
- Customer focused, with the ability to be versatile to meet customer expectations
- Excellent knowledge of Driving Hours and WTD
- Good time keeping, and a flexible approach to work
The Reward:
- Day work – 06:00 / 06:300 starts
- £18 – £27ph Basic Pay Rate – £20ph overtime
- paid after 8hrs
- Holiday Pay + Pension Enrolment after 3 months
