Aspray24 is a well-established privately run, family business, with a strong national network throughout the UK, specialising in next day delivery, Logistics and International Transport, established for over 30 years, employing nearly 800 staff. We are experiencing rapid growth and are looking for drivers to help us with our depot in Middleton

Job description

· Working Monday to Friday only.

· Previous experience is essential

· Daily duties will include bulk deliveries and trailer swaps/pickups

· We require drivers who have a positive can do attitude, that are willing to go the extra mile when needed and are able to work in a professional/responsible manner.

· Uniform, PPE and training will be provided, as will other company benefits.

· Successful applicants will agree to a CRB check, paid for by Aspray24.

· Ongoing CPC training is provided

The applicant must have a valid, current driving Licence with C+E entitlement, and preferably be a clean license (although minor points will be considered). It may be that the applicant is asked to drive an articulated vehicle or alternatively – a rigid vehicle and trailer.

Duties will include local trailer collections and transporting freight to our Head Office / Hub in Willenhall, Wolverhampton (and return).

Applicants will hold a digital tachograph card and will have their Drivers CPC qualification.

There may be times where the successful applicant will be sat, waiting for the trunk to arrive and successful applicants may also be asked to complete additional duties (local).
