Our client is a multi-disciplinary design and engineering business comprising professional engineers, architects, surveyors and project delivery specialists across a number of market sectors including rail, industrial, energy and off-site solutions.

They are now looking for an experienced Project Engineer to take responsibility for the overall delivery of projects to time, cost and quality guidelines. You will act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring specifications are met consistently. Liaising with the Commercial and Planning teams you will provide appropriate support, ensuring project costs are regularly reviewed and comply fully with all statutory and regulatory provisions.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing multi-disciplinary construction projects including energy from waste schemes as well as have a thorough knowledge of project management control systems. Strong experience of RC design is essential. You will preferably have membership of a relevant professional institution (ICE / IStructE). You will have sound management techniques with the ability to apply these through all project phases. They are looking for a team player who has sound market knowledge and the ability to multi task and work well under pressure. Solid IT literacy is also essential for the role.
