Civil Infrastructure Engineer

Infrastructure Design Engineer (PDS highway design experience would be advantageous)

* Extensive and proven experience in the use of the Windes drainage design full suite of software
* Design and prepare section 104 submissions quickly and efficiently including production of accurate and clear layout plans, long sections, schedules and construction details using AutoCAD
* Respond to technical comments and obtain final sign off of designs from approving authorities
* Prepare and submit design details to the Environment Agency for approvals and consents
* Production of drainage strategy drawings and reports
* Knowledge and experience in the use of PDS highway design software and knowledge of the DMRB would be advantageous.
* Respond to contractor design queries and visit sites when necessary.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on several interesting highway infrastructure project for commercial and residential developments. The candidate must be able to work effectively on their own initiative to deliver designs in a timely manner for technical approval and construction. Applicants must have a proactive attitude and be able to respond to highway authority technical audit comments efficiently to gain technical approval within demanding deadlines.

The Applicants must live locally to our offices in Birmingham (a maximum of one hour’s drive) and have their own transport to the office.
