Civil Graduate / Assistant Engineer

Workstream’s client is seeking a Civil Graduate/Assistant Engineer to join its Banbury team on a permanent basis. The client is looking for someone who has completed a civil engineering degree or HND/HNC, ideally with two-three years’ experience.

Responsibilities:
* Provide support to design engineers in the production of 2D drawings and 3D terrain models
* Attend site visits and design team meetings
* Produce civil and hydraulic calculations, reports and sketch drawings with the support of the design engineers

Key skills:
* Confident working independently and prepared to muck in when required
* Good ability to sketch/draw by hand
* Basic competency in using CAD
* Open to learning new CAD/BIM software programs and methods of working
* Bonus: previous experience and/or knowledge of SUDS and Road Design Software and site experience

The successful applicant will be assigned a chartered engineer mentor, who will support you through the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) professional training agreement.
