Civil Engineering Planner
Gateshead, Tyne & Wear
£26,000 – £42,000per year plus package (DOE)
Our client is a civil engineering contractor working within the infrastructure sector. They are actively searching for an assistant or intermediate planner to join their planning department.
ROLE:
* Providing planning support to both preconstruction and project stage
* Delivering planning and CDM criteria at preconstruction phase
* Working closely with clients, client representatives and external design teams
* Coordination with local authority planning teams
* Effective liaison with all stakeholders
CANDIDATE:
* Previous experience a planner within the construction / civil engineering sector desired
* Knowledge of CDM regulations
* Degree qualified in civil engineering or a construction subject
* Excellent spoken and written communication skills at all levels
* Previous experience with P6, Asta or Microsoft Project essential
* CAD experience or previous design experience desired
