Civil Engineer

DP Source Ltd are working on behalf of a family run company who specialise in the contracting, plant hire and aggregates market.

We are looking to recruit a Civil Engineer to join the team for existing and new renewable energy, aggregate and civil engineering projects. The role will be based in Tarbert

The role:
– Implementation of all engineering controls and compliance with the contract drawings and specifications, taking the projects from inception to completions
– Be responsible for the organisation of labour on site
– Setting out of the site
– Ensure safe working by producing Risk Assessments and method statements.
– Implementation and monitoring H&S, Quality and Environmental requirements and standards as required.
– Ensure company compliance and site goals are achieved by liaising with Site Manager and other members of the site team.
– Other main duties will include dealing with current client demands and any other duties as the business may require

The Candidate:
– Degree Educated and will have a minimum of 5 years` Experience working in a Civil Engineering Role or a recent Graduate with the willingness to learn.
– Chartered Status or working towards being chartered engineer in the future.
– Experienced in working with reinforced concrete, structural steel works and other commonly used building materials.
– Be proficient in AUTOCAD packages and Microsoft Works packages.

Accommodation will be provided if living outwith the area. There may be some weekend work which will be discussed at the time.

There are roles for both Experienced and Graduate Civil Engineers.
