A Warehouse and distribution centre in Sutton & Mitcham require full time, ongoing Night Staff, Van Loaders and Parcel Sorters. Work takes place between the hours of 11.30pm and 9am, weekdays and weekends.
As a Warehouse Operative, you will work as part of a team to assist with the distribution of consumer goods and packages on behalf of nationwide logistics company. For the right people, these temporary contracts can lead to securing regular employment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Sorting parcels by size, locations and postcodes
* Loading vehicles throughout the night in preparation for deliveries the following morning
* Checking goods-out paperwork to ensure correct loads on vehicles
* Some aspects of moving heavy, electrical, household items
Essential Skills/ Experience:
* The ability to work nights on a regular basis
* Computer literature
* A strong team player
* The skill to build good working relationships
* Reliable and excellent timekeeper
· Successful candidates will require steel toe-cap boots.
