CHP Service Engineer
Job Description
Salary: £37,500 per annum plus company van, tools, phone, laptop and Veolia benefits and additional weekend (1 in 4) call-out pay
Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday no shifts
Location: Central and East London. Covering parts of Essex and Kent

What will you be doing?
- Compliance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Carry out routine CHP engine servicing, within agreed timescales.
- Ability to fault find and diagnose issues with engine reliability and performance with successful rectification and return to service of the unit.
- Be skilled in the use of electrical drawings and parts manuals.
- Assist Customer Account Manager and Operational Team Leaders on all aspects of CHP maintenance .
- Compliance with all Veolia policies and procedures.
What are we looking for?
- Be conversant with the use of hand tools, power tools, and test equipment required to carry out CHP servicing and repairs.
- Have qualifications and or experience on gas engine maintenance and the ability and desire to be trained.
- Have sound knowledge in engineering practices and be conversant with the operation of CHP plant.
- Be Gas Safe trained or willing to undertake training (paid by Veolia).
- Undertake weekend (1 in 4) call-out duties as required by management.
- You will ideally have a sound understanding of electrical fault finding and rectification.
- As you’ll be a part of a small team of engineers, team mentality is essential.
- Full Driving licence
