JOB DESCRIPTION
DegreeSix Recruitment are experts specialising in young people’s residential care, education and adult homes. We are looking for a Registered Manager who is energetic with a strong sense of leadership at heart who can make quick decisions, provide support to the entire team and can give structure to each day.
Responsibilities and Duties
Clinically, your role will involve writing and reviewing documents that undertake and analyse various data, behavioural assessments for those of concern, as well as training staff on all interventions and ensure a high level of standard. This also will extend onto attending meetings with external professionals in abundant occupations for further development.
Operationally, ensuring policies and procedures are examined and thoroughly pushed to be apparent throughout the team, with meetings with both your own staff and individuals being a key focus of delivering exceptional service. This entails audits, rotas and safety procedures too. In addition, conducting annual staff supervisions and comprising induction programme / packages to staff is essential for the candidate who’s looking to get the best from the team.
Qualifications and Skills
- NVQ leadership and management – level 5 (desirable)
- NVQ– residential childcare – level 3 (essential)
- 12 months experience in residential childcare (essential)
- Full UK Driver’s License (essential)
