Salary: £26,000 per year
A fantastic chance to work for a well established group of children’s homes that cover across the Midlands area. Their 10 homes (that number will be growing this year.) cater for children with a variety of needs and help given them the normality and support they need to lead a productive live into adulthood. Their team of support staff, team leaders, and managers have one thing in common… they live, breathe, and eat to give the best care for these children they care for. Now more than ever, children need the mental support of this company.
They are recruiting for a Team Leader for a 4 bed residential children’s home, you will be:-
* Based in a 4 bedroom children’s residential home in South East Birmingham
* Working on a 1 day on / 2 days off rota 7.30am to 11pm – 38 hours per week and on average 6 sleep ins per month
* Supervising the support workers and taking the lead on shift
* Helping to provide daily care for the children as well adhering to the care plans and doing risk assessments
Qualifications/Experience/Requirements
* NVQ or Level 3 diploma in children and young people or equivalent qualification
* Living within travelling distance to the children’s home in South East Birmingham
* You must over 21 years old and have a full UK driving licence and vehicle
* You would need experience working as a team leader or senior support worker within a children’s home
* Crisis support experience would be very beneficial
Benefits
* £26,000 per year over a 38 hour week
* Overtime rate of £26,000 per year
* 217 hours holiday per year
* £45 per sleep in – 6-7 per month
