Children and Young People’s Training Manager – Maternity Cover

Our client, a leading charity based organisation is seeking an experienced Manager, who will be responsible for managing and developing all aspects of their young people’s training programmes. You will interact with young people with disabilities, enabling them to develop new skills and gain independence, and manage a team of five permanent staff, both office and home based as well as ad-hoc trainers.

Summary of activities:

* Manage day-to-day operational aspects to effectively market on a regional and national scale.

* Deliver a national development plan for training events including marketing and partnership.

* Building and maintaining relationships with key partners, including training providers and employers to increase awareness of the charities? work.

* Develop and manage Steering Groups of users who, actively consulting and engaging with in the development of training.

* Manage training budgets, maximise on resources whilst monitoring expenditure and costs.

* Developing ways to use innovative new media, such as online training modules and packages and integrating it into face-to-face training and evaluation. Maintaining policies and procedures which ensure the Charity works safely and appropriately with young people and children.

Essential:

To be considered for the role, you must have a proven background in education and/ or training as well as a recognised relevant formal qualification or appropriate, previous experience.
