Are currently looking to recruit the following
Chassis Electronics Engineer
The role of the engineer will be to cost effective, reliable electrical system solutions that meet the requirements of the Chassis Department, providing them with an electrical platform on which they can carry out their calibration activities. Take. To take component ownership for all electrical parts within the system such as ECU’s sensors and actuators.
• Responsible for developing and maintain technical knowledge/capability within the field of Chassis/braking control electronics. This includes ABS/ESP, electrically controlled parking brake, electro-hydraulic braking systems, autonomous cruise control, tyre pressure monitoring, active suspension systems, power steering and electrically controlled aerodynamic aids
• Responsible for executing the product development lifecycle process in accordance with the Product Emergence Process principles
• Responsible for planning and expediting a test and validation programme, appropriate to the component/system and which will achieve the requirement of ‘Engineering Sign-Off’
• Provide support for all vehicle prototype and production build phases in terms of parts provision, technical know-how, fault-finding, problem resolution and vehicle sign-off
• Responsible for the management of the system/component suppliers. Required to facilitate regular Project Reviews with suppliers and core team personnel
