Salary: £42,000 per year

We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Health and Safety/CDM Consultant to join a successful and expanding Health & Safety Consultancy based in Port Talbot.

Job Description – CDM Health & Safety Consultant

We are seeking a motivated individual to support the company on a variety of contracts. The successful candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience along with a willingness to develop.
The post will be based in Port Talbot with some home working by arrangement and UK wide travel.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

· Carrying out the duties of Principal Designer Advisor.

· Providing CDM advice and support to Clients.

· Being a key point of contact for our Clients.

· Providing relevant CDM documentation.

· Carrying out site health & safety inspections and issuing reports.

Skills and qualifications:

· Previous experience of acting as a Health & Safety Advisor in a construction environment.

· A thorough understanding of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015.

· An existing Health & Safety qualification such as a NEBOSH Diploma, NEBOSH Construction or equivalent.

· Ambitious and enthusiastic individual able to work independently.

· IT literate.

· Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload.

· Good presentation, report writing and communication skills.

· A full UK driving licence is essential together with the use of own vehicle for business travel with paid expenses.
