Category Manager – verticals, inventory, eCommerce proposition – 12 month contract – West London – £280 a day

A globally recognised prestigious brand is recruiting for a Verticals Manager focussed on delivering world class eCommerce proposition management.

We’re looking for a driven, organised and ecommerce savvy manager for a key part of our proposition, Verticals & Inventory. The role, reporting to the Director of Buyer Experience and Verticals, will lead the creation of a world-class Fitment experience within our strategic Parts & Accessories vertical, as well as driving best practice category / inventory management across France, Italy and Spain.

Key responsibilities
*Deliver a world-class Fitment experience in France, Italy and Spain
oEnd to end responsibility for the design, implementation and ongoing management of all initiatives required for a successful launch
oCreate the structure and rigor to effectively manage numerous activities across multiple geographies
oDrive results by creating clear and detailed plans, setting expectations, driving accountability and promptly raising issues or opportunities
oDesign and manage, along with partners in analytics, reporting to support effective decisions and continual performance improvement
oDefine campaigns to drive ongoing seller adoption
*Drive best practice category / inventory management across France, Italy and Spain
oWork closely with the country buyer and seller teams to understand customer needs and help them close gaps
oGenerate / collect insights (both qualitative and quantitative) and turn them into actionable initiatives within the strategy
oAdopt global best practice processes, tool and initiatives within the region

Key qualifications
*Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives with critical timelines under time/resource pressures
*Structured to steer and sync a complex network of global stakeholders
*Strong verbal and written communication skills, including an ability to communicate effectively at all levels in a multicultural environment
*Sense of urgency and ownership to drive issues and tasks to completion
*Understanding of the French, Italian and Spanish markets to meet buyer and seller needs – a plus
