Casting / Production Operative

Salary: £26,000 per year

Insight Recruitment Consultants are activly seeking for a Casting/production operative for our sucessful client in Ross on Wye. 

Job purpose

To work as part of a small team in an organised and methodical in order to provide a first-class service to our client’s customers by assisting in the overall production and despatch of customers’ orders. Your role will be in the Casting area within the site.

As an organised and methodical worker, your day-to-day role will be:-

Casting various products by using silicone rubber moulds, which are prepared and brushed with talc. Resin compound is measured into a container, catalyst added, and mixed well. This catalysed resin is then poured into the selected moulds. The cycle is continued until the first mould is ready to be de-moulded and left open to stand for a ‘cooling down’ period.

This is a unique and bespoke role, we are happy to train the right person to carry out this role. A methodical and thorough approach is essential.

To keep work area clean, tidy and safe by maintaining high levels of Health and Safety standards at all times.

Physical Demands

• Being able to produce castings on a target basis once fully trained.
• Working in a dusty/noisy atmosphere
