Cash Clerk (part time temp contract)

About the role:

This is a great opportunity to join a vibrant, exciting and growing media business. We are looking for an Cash Clerk to join our existing Credit Control Team within the Finance department on a part time (25 hours per week) basis.

As the Cash Clerk you will be responsible for assisting on all credit control functions and performing administration duties within the department.

Your main responsibilities will be:

– Keeping accurate daily records of cash received via BACS, cheque or credit card using Excel and reconciling weekly
– Allocation of receipts to sales ledger (Cheques, BACS, Credit Card, Direct Debit
– Assisting in the preparation of various weekly / monthly cash reports
– Assisting in sending statements and reminder letters to clients
– Updating customer details when necessary
– Daily filing and scanning of remittance documents
– Assist with departmental end of month duties including helping Credit Control team administer client invoices

Skills:

As the ideal candidate you will have had book keeping experience and you need to be able to work toward tight deadlines. You also possess excellent numeracy skills, have a great eye for attention to detail and demonstrate high accuracy in your work. You will have knowledge of using Sage 200, MS Office, Excel and Outlook.

You will also have good interpersonal skills and be a team player.

This role is a part time position, working 25 hours Monday to Friday between the hours of 10:00am to 3:00pm. Daily start and finishing times may flexible and are open to negotiation.
